CUI Strengthens Global Outreach at Turkish University Fair 2026

The International Office of COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) actively participated in the Turkish University Fair 2026, held on March 30, 2026, at the Marriott Hotel, Islamabad. The event was organized by Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges, Chak Shahzad, Islamabad.

The CUI delegation was led by Ms. Muniba Nasir, Head International Office, and included Mr. Arif Awan and Mr. Ghazanfar Ali from the Mobility & Scholarships Unit. The team engaged in productive discussions with rectors and representatives from leading Turkish universities, including Adiyaman University, Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University, Bogaziçi University, and Firat University, along with officials from the Turkish Embassy in Islamabad.

During the interactions, CUI was presented as a leading higher education institution in Pakistan, recognized for its strong commitment to internationalization and academic excellence. The discussions focused on exploring avenues for collaboration in key areas such as:

• Student exchange programs
• Joint research initiatives
• Online lectures and academic cooperation
• Capacity-building programs for faculty and staff
• Summer schools and short-term programs
• Visiting scholar opportunities

CUI reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening existing partnerships and expressed a strong interest in expanding academic and research collaborations with prestigious institutions across Türkiye.
