British Council’s Connections Through Culture (CTC) Grants 2026


Introduction:

Applications are now open for the British Council’s Connections Through Culture (CTC) Grants 2026 and will close on 12th August 2026 at 23:59 BST. The programme supports collaborative projects and grants support artistic collaboration between the UK and Pakistan grants of up to £15,000. CUI has active collaborations with Cardiff Metropolitan University and University of Glasgow.
  • CTC is designed to support creative practitioners, cultural professionals, artists, organisations, festivals, biennials, hubs and collectives, with projects spanning a broad range of themes and art forms. The programme supports meaningful partnerships, cross-cultural exchange and long-term collaboration between the UK and participating countries.
  • This year, CTC has expanded to include ‘Biennials Connect (Visual Arts) grants’ and ‘Architecture, Design and Fashion Biennials and Festivals Grants’.

Given the inclusion of Architecture, Design and Fashion Biennials and Festivals Grants and Visual Arts grants, may please see if CUI's Departments of Architecture and Art & Design faculty members, student groups, and creative collectives, may explore collaborative projects with partner institutions such as Cardiff Metropolitan University and the University of Glasgow, subject to the programme's eligibility criteria.
