Successful Conduct of 5th International Conference on Green Sustainable Technology and Management (ICGSTM 2026) at Department of Biotechnology, CUI Abbottabad
5th International Conference on Green Sustainable Technology and Management (ICGSTM 2026) was co-organized by Department of Biotechnology, COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus, in collaboration with INTI International University, Malaysia on Wednesday 22 July 2026 in hybrid mode. The conference’s thematic areas included Bioremediation, Biofortification, Nano Composts, Phytopathogen, Crop Improvement, and Epigenetic Variability. The conference brought together researchers, academicians, professionals, and students from multiple countries, providing an excellent platform for the exchange of innovative ideas and research findings in the fields of green and sustainable technologies and materials.
The students and alumni presented their work at the conference wherein our alumni Dr. Zahid Ahamd Khan was awarded the best presenter award by INTI. This prestigious recognition reflects the excellence of the presentation, the quality of research, and ability to effectively communicate the work by our students to the varied conference-participants belonging to multiple universities from multiple countries. Such contributions have enriched the conference and exemplified the high standards of academic excellence that ICGSTM and CUI strive to promote.

Moreover, we appreciate and thank Focal Person for CUI-INTI Liaison, Prof. Dr. Rashid Nazir (Department of Environmental Sciences, CUI Abbottabad), Dean Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Irshad and Worthy Director Abbottabad Campus Prof. Dr. Zakir Hussain for his guidance and support in organizing this conference. We look forward to the future collaboration between INTI and our department.
