Report on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony

On 05 August 2026, the Department of Management Sciences (DMS), COMSATS University Islamabad, Vehari Campus, successfully organized the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Southern Business School (SBS), University of Southern Punjab, Multan. The ceremony marked the beginning of a strategic academic partnership aimed at strengthening cooperation in education, research, faculty and student development, and professional engagement.
The MOU was signed between:
- Dr. Muhammad Azeem Ahmad, Head, Southern Business School (SBS), University of Southern Punjab, Multan
- Dr. Jamil Ahmad, Head, Department of Management Sciences, COMSATS University Islamabad, Vehari Campus
The signing ceremony was witnessed by:
- Dr. Zeeshan Ahmed
- Dr. Muhammad Usman Qureshi
The MOU establishes a framework for collaboration in the following areas:
- Joint research projects and publications
- Faculty and student mobility and exchange
- Training programs and faculty development workshops
- Conferences, seminars, symposiums, and academic forums
- Knowledge sharing, curriculum development, and institutional collaboration
The agreement will remain effective for a period of five (5) years from the date of signing and aims to promote academic excellence, innovation, and mutual institutional growth.
The event was successfully planned and managed by the Industrial Liaison Committee. The organizing committee members were:

- Mr. Saad Munir – Secretary, Industrial Liaison Committee
The committee efficiently coordinated all arrangements, including event planning, communication with the collaborating institution, venue management, guest reception, logistics, and the smooth execution of the signing ceremony.
