NIMS Internship 2026 in Japan | Fully Funded

The applications are now open for the NIMS Internship 2026 in Japan. It is a fully funded Internship for international students from all over the world. The Duration of the NIMS internship is 90 Days. The Internship is open to Undergraduate, graduate, and Doctoral students from all countries.

• Round Airfare Tickets
• 2,560 Yen/day Daily Allowance.
• Bus fares between Tsukuba and the airport.
• Accommodation Provided
• A Certificate will be issued after the submission of the Final Report.

Eligibility criteria: NIMS Internship is open to International Students from all countries.

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students can apply.
• Students enrolled in Japan can also apply.
• Students enrolled outside Japan are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply:      Follow the Step-by-Step Application process:

• Students cannot apply for the NIMS internship.
• Students first need to contact the supervisor of their interest at NIMS. Search (NIMS Researchers Directory Service “SAMURAI”) https://samurai.nims.go.jp/?locale=en
• If the supervisor agrees to have you as an intern. Then you must submit the above documents to the supervisor.
• After the screening of documents, your supervisor will tell you the next process.

• Educational Certificates
• Transcripts
• Doctoral and master’s students are required to submit both undergraduate and graduate transcripts.
