I hope this message finds you well. I am directed to request your kind support in disseminating the call for nominations for the Young Scientist Medal 2026 among eligible faculty members of your respective campuses/institutes, particularly those below 40 years of age.

About the Award:
The Young Scientist Medal is an international initiative of the Mustafa (pbuh) Science and Technology Foundation (MSTF), aimed at recognizing and encouraging outstanding young scientists from Islamic countries who have demonstrated excellence through impactful and innovative research. The award is conferred biennially to promote scientific advancement and its contribution to improving human life.

Key Features of the Award:

  • Eligibility: Scientists under the age of 40 (as of the end of the award year)
  • Fields Covered:
    • Life & Medical Science and Technology
    • Basic & Engineering Sciences
    • Computer Science
  • Award Components: Medal, Certificate of Honor, and a cash prize of USD 10,000
  • Nomination Mode: Institutional nomination only (individual self-nominations are not accepted)

In this regard, it is requested that nominations along with all required supporting documents may please be submitted to the International Office through the Director of the concerned Campus by 15 March 2025 for further processing and onward submission to the awarding body.

Please note that only nominations routed through the proper institutional channel will be considered.

Nomination
