CUI and Rennes School of Business, France Explore Academic Cooperation

The International Office, CUI, hosted a delegation from Rennes School of Business (RSB), France, on 13 February 2026 for focused discussions on exploring possibilities of academic collaboration. The visiting delegation included Prof. Dr. Dildar Hussain, Head of the Luxury Marketing Department/ Program Director and Mr. Charles Quellec, Southeast Asia Manager and In-charge of Development.

The delegates were received by the International Office (IO) Team. The visit commenced with a brief tour of the vibrant Junaid Zaidi library where they were explained about the state-of-the-art facilities available.

Subsequently, a formal meeting chaired by Ms. Muniba Nasir, Head International Office, was held with the delegates. Head IO extended a formal welcome to the delegates, followed by a brief introduction from both sides. Dr. Omar Farooq Malik, HoD Management Sciences department, Dr. Rashid Mukhtar, In-charge Career Development Center (CDC) and Ms. Samira Shah, In- charge French Desk, IO and Ms. Ayesha Masood, Coordinator, French Desk were also present in the meeting. An introductory documentary of CUI was shown after which Head IO gave a detailed presentation of CUI explaining about its academic, research and internationalization achievements, highlighting engagements with French institutions and French Embassy. Collaboration discussions centered on Management Sciences, Business Analytics and Data Sciences. Ms. Samira Shah, being a French National herself explained about CUI’s longstanding and ongoing cooperative relationship with French Embassy, universities, organizations and Campus France.

Both sides deliberated on potential avenues including student mobility, faculty exchange, joint webinars, and structured academic engagement. To begin with, it was decided to hold joint information sessions about study and mobility opportunities available at Renne School of Business.

The visit concluded with the exchange of souvenirs and a group photograph. The engagement reflected CUI’s continued commitment to developing mutually beneficial partnerships with reputable international institutions.
