COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) organized an orientation session for newly arrived students from Bangladesh, aimed at helping them smoothly transition into their academic and social life at the university.

The session commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Farhana Jabeen, Head of Department, who emphasized the value of cultural diversity and academic excellence at CUI. This was followed by an informative presentation on the university and the Computer Science Department, highlighting academic programs, learning facilities, and student support services.

Students were also briefed on academic rules, assessment procedures, and campus policies to ensure a strong start to their academic journey.

Mr. Kashif Masood, In charge International Admissions, International Office provided essential guidance on visa extension, police registration, and other compliance requirements. He also shared a helpful overview of Islamabad, including transportation, safety, and key facilities, to help students feel at home. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, allowing students to address their queries and begin their journey at CUI with confidence.
