CUI Joins National Momentum for Higher Education Internationalization

COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) continues to solidify its role as a key player in the global academic landscape by actively participating in the "National Dialogue on Internationalization of Higher Education: Challenges and Opportunities." Initiated by NUST, this collaborative series of meetings brought together the International Offices of CUI, Riphah, Air, and Bahria Universities to address the evolving needs of global engagement. The most recent session, held on January 14, 2026, served as a critical milestone to consolidate strategic points and finalize a collective proposal for the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Through these dialogues, CUI’s International Office has contributed vital insights on enhancing global academic footprints and fostering sustainable international partnerships. By aligning with peer institutions, CUI aims to streamline frameworks that tackle systemic challenges while maximizing opportunities for students and faculty mobility. This joint submission to the HEC marks a significant step toward a unified national strategy for internationalization, ensuring that Pakistani higher education remains competitive, inclusive, and globally connected.
