COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) Faculty Selected for Erasmus+ Mobility Visit to UWM Poland
The Mobility Unit of the International Office at COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) successfully developed an International Credit Mobility (ICM) Erasmus+ project in collaboration with the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (UWM), Poland.
Under this initiative, Arch. Muhammad Taimur Sarwar, Chairman, Department of Architecture & Design, CUI, visited UWM, Poland from 19–25 January 2026. The visit aimed to strengthen academic cooperation and explore new avenues for institutional collaboration between the two universities.
During the visit, discussions were held on establishing the first Building Envelope Workshops in Pakistan, with UWM expressing its willingness to coordinate and support the development of these workshops at CUI. This initiative is expected to significantly enhance research capacity and provide practical learning opportunities for students and faculty in the fields of Civil Engineering and Architecture & Design.
In addition, UWM assured priority consideration for research publications submitted by CUI scholars to its internationally recognized journal “Acta Administratio Locorum.” This development will further strengthen joint research collaboration and enhance the international academic visibility of CUI researchers.
The International Office remains committed to expanding global partnerships and promoting international mobility opportunities for faculty and students.
