Call for Participation: China-South Asia Youth Envoys Program

Description:
I am directed to forward herewith the appended email for further dissemination among the faculty members and students of your concerned campus, regarding the China–South Asia Youth Envoys Program, being organized by Yunnan University, China, under the Secretariat of the South & Southeast Asian University Network.
This is a partially funded international opportunity scheduled to be held from June 7–18, 2026 (12 days) in Yunnan, China. The program includes lectures, workshops, cultural activities, symposiums, and site visits, and aims at enhancing academic and cultural exchange between China and South Asian countries.
Salient Features:
  • Eligibility: Students and faculty members
    (Priority: Young scholars, PhD students, and graduate students)
  • Nomination Quota: Maximum 03 (three) nominations 
  • Financial Coverage:
    • Host university will cover accommodation, meals, and local transportation
    • Participants will bear only international return airfare
    • No financial liability on the part of COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI)
Important Deadlines
  • Online Registration: On or before May 15, 2026
  • Announcement of Results: By May 20, 2026 (via email)
Interested candidates may apply through the official online portal and are requested to keep the undersigned in the loop, enabling the International Office to pursue formal nominations and coordination with the host university.
