The COMSATS Joint Center for Industrial Biotechnology (CCIB), in collaboration with the State Key Laboratory of Engineering Biology for Low-Carbon Manufacturing, China, is organizing the 6th International Training Course on Industrial Synthetic Biotechnology (ITC-ISB), tentatively scheduled to be held in October 2026 in Tianjin, China. 

The training course is a prestigious capacity-building programme that has successfully trained more than 190 scholars and researchers from 32 countries since 2019.

Internal CUI Deadline: Interested applicants are requested to submit a soft copy of their complete application package, along with all required supporting documents, through the Director of the concerned Campus to the International Office by 15 July 2026 for processing and approval of the worthy Rector. Applicants must ensure that all application documents required by the organizers are included with their submission. 

Since the programme offers comprehensive financial support to selected participants (therefore, no financial liability on the part of CUI), eligible faculty members, researchers, and PhD scholars are strongly encouraged to apply.
