SSBC Business Idea Pitching Presentation & Batch-14 Enrolment
The Student Startup Business Centre (SSBC), COMSATS University Islamabad, successfully organized its Idea Pitching Competition before the SSBC Management Committee as part of the startup evaluation and incubation process.
During the meeting, the Management Committee evaluated four (4) shortlisted startups from Batch-13 for Seed Funding. Each startup presented its business idea, business model, market potential, and commercialization strategy. Following a comprehensive evaluation, two (2) startups were approved for Seed Funding to support the development and commercialization of their innovative ventures.
The Management Committee also reviewed applications received for Batch-14 enrollment. A total of 70 applications were received from aspiring student entrepreneurs across COMSATS University Islamabad. After an initial screening process, 37 applicants were shortlisted to present their business ideas before the Committee.
Of the shortlisted applicants, 34 students appeared for the final pitching session. Based on the quality of their presentations, innovation, feasibility, market potential, and the Committee's overall assessment, eight (8) student startups were selected for enrollment in Batch-14 of the Student Startup Business Centre (SSBC).
SSBC congratulates all the successful startups and appreciates the enthusiasm and innovative spirit demonstrated by all participants. The Centre remains committed to nurturing entrepreneurial talent by providing mentorship, business development support, networking opportunities, and access to seed funding for promising student-led ventures.
