CUI Participates in HEC Iftar Gathering with International Students under Allama Iqbal Scholarship Program

The International Office of COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) participated in a special Iftar gathering hosted by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan on March 09, 2026 for international students from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka studying in Pakistan under the Allama Iqbal Scholarship Program.

The event was attended by the Rector of CUI, along with the Head of the International Office and the In-charge International Admissions. A total of 26 international students from CUI, including 24 students from Bangladesh and 2 students from Sri Lanka, also participated in the gathering.

During the interaction session, the Rector warmly engaged with the students and encouraged them to make the most of their academic journey at CUI while embracing Pakistan’s rich academic and cultural environment.

The event was also graced by High Commissioners and other distinguished guests, reflecting the growing importance of academic exchange programs in strengthening bilateral relations and regional cooperation.

Through such engagements, CUI reaffirms its commitment to internationalization and to supporting students from around the world in achieving their academic and professional aspirations.
