COMSATS University Islamabad Organized Awareness Seminar on “Study in France”
The International Office, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), organized an Awareness Seminar on “Study in France” on May 14, 2026, at the Videoconference Room, Junaid Zaidi Library, CUI.
The seminar was conducted in collaboration with the French Embassy in Islamabad and Campus France with the objective of creating awareness among students regarding higher education opportunities, academic pathways, scholarships, and student life in France.
The session featured distinguished resource persons including Ms. Sabine Vermillard, Scientific & Higher Education Attachée, Cultural Cooperation Department, French Embassy in Islamabad and Ms. Wardah, Campus France Manager. The speakers provided detailed insights into admission procedures, available academic programs, scholarship opportunities, and international exposure for Pakistani students aspiring to pursue higher education in France.
A large number of students attended the seminar and actively participated in the interactive Q&A session. The participants showed keen interest in exploring international academic opportunities and future collaborations with French institutions.
The event concluded with closing remarks by Ms. Muniba Nasir, Head International Office, followed by a presentation of shield and group photograph.
Subsequently, a meeting was held between the International Office representatives and the French delegation to discuss potential areas of cooperation. The seminar reflected CUI’s continued commitment to strengthening international academic linkages and providing students with enhanced global learning opportunities through strategic collaborations with leading international partners.
